Vamos começar com a fotógrafa e artista visual Emma Powell que utiliza a cianotipia para criar paisagens oníricas que remetem para o surrealismo do século XX. A sua base de trabalho são as suas próprias experiências de insónia enquanto criança. A tonalidade obtida através das suas viragens com vinho fazem com que os seus cianótipos sugiram um tempo alternativo entre o sono e a vígilia. Depois de as desenvolver, Emma edita digitalmente suas fotografias para melhorar ainda mais os efeitos idiossincráticos do processo de cianotipia.
